Complete homebirth packages

  • Homebirth is safe for most women, even those having their first baby. Birthing at home has many benefits, including:

    • continuity of care with your chosen midwife before, during and after birth

    • supporting physiological labour and birth

    • reducing the risk of unnecessary intervention which can lead to poorer outcomes for mamas and their babies and birth trauma

    • improved breastfeeding experiences

    • prioritising the mother/baby dyad above all else

    • your care is provided in the comfort of your home (or a clinic space)

    My homebirth package includes all antenatal care, being on call for your birth, attending you during your labour and birth (including a second midwife) and all postnatal care up to 6 weeks post birth.

    To ensure I am able to give my best to every woman, I take a maximum of 3-4 clients per month. This means spaces fill very quickly, so please get in contact as soon as possible for a chat if this feels like a pathway you’d like to explore.

Shared care

  • An alternative to routine hospital and/or GP shared care. Unfortunately, poor staffing in hospitals, the lack of GP training in pregnancy and time constraints mean that women are rarely fully informed in relation to their rights, options, benefits, risks and alternatives. This leads to higher rates of intervention and poorer outcomes for mamas and their babies. Shared care with a known midwife is the gold standard in maternity care.

    Shared care with me includes all antenatal and postnatal care, in collaboration with your choice of birthing hospital. If you would like support in hospital during labour, this can be included.

Information sessions

  • Have questions? Not sure where to go or what to do next? Want more information on certain aspects of your care? Have you been recommended a certain pathway or intervention and just want a second opinion?

    Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and are designed so you walk away feeling informed and empowered. All sessions include extra resources (such as links, blogs, podcasts etc) we discuss during your session.

  • $150 for 60 mins or $250 for 120 mins

    Package pricing can be arranged if you would like multiple sessions.

Blooming Beautiful birth class

  • Private one-on-one birth education in the comfort of your own home. We cover signs of labour, hospital pain relief options, birthing positions and comfort techniques, writing a birth plan, routine interventions, policies and procedures in hospital and how they affect your birth and the first few hours/days after birth.

    Each class can be tailored to your specific needs and questions.

  • $450 – 4 hours
